We stayed at this hotel when visiting Colorado Springs. The location is quite close to the area attractions and the facilities in the hotel are good. What we didn't like about the hotel is that internet access is not free, there are no microwaves and refrigerators in the rooms. I thought it made a great first impression. It is older, so the wall paper appears dingy and the rooms are smaller than the newer hotels. The pool and hot tub were not up to temperature. After we requested, the hot tub temperature was raised and on our day of checkout was finally usable. The pool was cold and could easily have made a person hypothermic had they attempted to endure. My young child of two refused to stay in. We had chosen a three star to ensure a great swimming experience and were disappointed. That said, the bed was comfortable. Quiet and safe location. New and well appointed. Room is comfortable and spacious. 24 hour coffee and tea in lobby.

The overall hotel was great, but the hallway, we were in, was like a scene out of The Shining. The first thing we saw when we entered the room was a dirty wall. No microwave or fridge was a huge inconvenience. The hotel Nintendo game system was down during our stay and the TV was set up to not allow personal game systems to plug in. Very clean hotel. Staff very helpful. Rooms could be a long distance from lobby. Hotel is very large and distance to lobby can be a long distance. Hotel seemed to be centrally located. Rooms very clean and nice other than no refrigerator in room. Overall, we would stay here again and overall I was very impressed with everything. Clean and attractive.

The location was awesome, room was great. There was just no where to put water or drinks to keep them cold. Being on a business trip it is just nice to be able to have bottled water and keep it cold.

The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. I was traveling with family for hockey tournament. Other parents asked about Crowne. I had to tell them breakfast and refrigerator / microwave in room was not part of the deal. They stayed in hotels that provided this. We would have used the pool, but didn't have time. ...read more
